AHF in the field

The Applied Hope Foundation is a field-based philanthropy. We believe that we learn best about what we can do for others by living with those others, learning what they themselves think can be of best help. Our field staff are military combat veterans and former USAID field directors who ask, at the grassroots level, about the local implications of anything we're considering. We then listen to what we're told and design our efforts accordingly.
